Forms Modernization Week honored that legacy and looked ahead to what comes next: Oracle APEX, a modern, low-code platform that enables teams to evolve their Forms applications without starting over.
Throughout the week, we shared insights, practical tips, and expert perspectives on how organizations can transition from legacy systems to modern solutions using Oracle APEX and Oracle Cloud.
What’s Happened Each Day
Monday
The week began with Michael Ferrante’s welcome to Talan and a discussion about what it means for the future of Oracle Forms. Attendees were invited to read Michael’s blog, “Why Oracle Forms Still Matters in 2025,” and kick off the week by celebrating both the legacy and future of Oracle development
Tuesday
Tuesday was Tips & Trivia Day, where participants tested their knowledge and gained practical modernization insights through “Fact or Fiction” challenges shared on social media, along with expert modernization tips.
Wednesday
On Wednesday, Michael Ferrante and Monty Latiolais led an open conversation in our featured webinar about what’s next for Oracle Forms users.
Thursday
Thursday focused on the technical side of modernization, sharing real-world insights and highlights from the Forms Modernization Webinar Series. We also explored advanced Oracle APEX and OCI tips for teams ready to take their modernization journeys further.
Friday
Friday wrapped up the week with a Community Appreciation session. The team hosted a live Q&A featuring Michael Ferrante, Sylvain Martel, and Monty Latiolais, who answered top modernization questions.
