Job Description
Our ETF/Credit Desk requires a fully integrated IT solution to support its key functions, including:
- ETF Pricing Calculation – Enabling both voice quotation and transmission to electronic trading platforms.
- Data Consolidation & Cleanup – Aggregating data from multiple external sources to provide a unified dataset for pricing and trading.
- System Integration – Connecting with e-trading platforms like ION, as well as in-house trading solutions.
- Algorithmic Trading – Supporting automation and optimization of trading strategies.
- Position & Risk Management – Overseeing P&L, exposure, and risk metrics.
Role Description:
We are looking for Business Analyst, experienced in working with market-making Credit traders and understanding their requirements. The role of the Business Analyst will be critical to ensure full definition, visibility and understanding of the requirements across all stakeholders, and to communicate the detail of the requirements to the technical teams and architectural lead, to ensure delivery of a high-quality solution.
The Business Analyst will also perform project management functions; tracking and communicating progress to stakeholders, senior management and to the Rates/Credit Program Manager.
We use the Agile methodology, so the Business Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the Epics and User Stories consistent with a Roadmap, and for building out the content of the User Stories for consumption by the development and testing / QA teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in working with market-making traders on the dealing floors to gather and define requirements.
- Knowledge of Credit Bonds and ETFs as financial products, along with trading business needs in these products.
- Experience in requirements gathering and requirements analysis and working with end-users, technical teams, and other stakeholders, in a formal structured IT project environment.
- Exposure to Agile IT process i.e. User Stories, and scrum / sprint cadences.
- Project management, tracking and communication to stakeholders and senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology or a related field.
