We are seeking a talented Junior Functional Analyst to join our team working for a high-impact international client in the banking sector.
Job Description
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE:
As a Junior Functional Analyst, you will contribute to projects focused on banking cash management and reconciliation processes. You will support the team by documenting processes and producing high-quality user manuals, while interacting with technical and business stakeholders to gather, interpret, and structure complex financial information.
This role requires strong organizational and writing skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of banking formats and reconciliation workflows.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Previous experience (1-3 years) working in functional analyst or business support roles in financial institutions.
High-level proficiency in Excel.
Good understanding of cash products: statements and payment methods.
Familiarity with SWIFT MT101, XML payment formats.
Knowledge of statement formats such as MT940/942, BAI2, and Camt.053/052.
Understanding of bank reconciliation processes.
Strong writing skills in both English and Spanish, with proven experience preparing end-user documentation.
Tech-savvy mindset and ability to collaborate with IT and business teams.
A structured, organized individual with high attention to detail.
Knowledge of electronic banking platforms is a strong asset.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
