We are seeking a talented IT Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with security vulnerabilities remediation, workstation infrastructure maintenance and support.

Role and responsibilities

  • Support for Windows workstation security remediation and patch management via SCCM
  • Support for application patching / security package deployment
  • Patch management research and remediation for workstations (Laptops, Desktops), virtual desktops
  • Hands on involvement in patch completion if the automated cycle fails
  • Automation of mundane tasks via Powershell and Power Query where applicable for workstation support
  • Work with the IT Support team when tickets/issues are assigned
  • Work directly with the users to schedule appointments for workstation maintenance

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in overall IT
  • Proficient in using Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Powershell
  • Expert in Windows Workstation OS management
  • Effective oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential
  • End-User support experience is required
  • Some knowledge of Qualys or equivalent system is a plus
  • Working experience in financial industry is a plus
