This role is for one of our leading CIB and financial services client. They currently use a third-party vendor platform for e-trading, but they are dissatisfied with it. As a result, the team is planning to develop an internal solution, building on some of their existing legacy systems. This initiative is expected to span several years, starting with a proof of concept (PoC) later this year.

It is a hybrid role (3 days per week at the office) in Kraków, Poland. The remote setup is possible for approx. first 6 weeks, but relocation to Kraków is expected after that.

Important: after approx. 1 year of successful collaboration, there will be an opportunity to become an internal employee of the client.

• Java developer with at least 3 years of experience.
• Previous experience in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) is highly desirable.
• Experience with e-trading platform development would be ideal.
• Good knowledge of low-latency, multi-threaded programming techniques.
• Fluency in English.
