LEMA Summit 2026 – 2–3 March, Leeds Castle, Kent

This March the Local Energy Markets Alliance (LEMA) will be hosting a two‑day event, where leaders shaping the future of Smart Local Energy Systems will gather to explore how the LEMA Approach can:

  • Connect new demand on constrained networks
  • Reduce costs, support growth, and boost resilience
  • Accelerate adoption of Smart Local Energy Systems

The event will focus on the crucial role of last‑mile energy efficiency in unlocking low‑carbon capacity, strengthening local resilience, and improving living standards.

Since their last summit, LEMA members have advanced the definition of the Dynamic Load Averaging (DLA) Service and identified key pathfinder sites. This year, they will apply DLA to these opportunities to build site‑specific smart systems, address practical challenges, and realise real‑world benefits.

At the summit, they will:

  • Demonstrate the capacity‑management potential of LCTs in new build, existing homes, and commercial settings
  • Explore practical delivery of smart local energy systems
  • Show how LEMA opens clear routes for organisations to engage with and implement energy planning

LEMA’s mission is simple: simplify the energy burden and unlock commercial growth. Now is the time to act.

Talan are proud to announce that they will be one of the sponsors of this event.
