Ethical and professional conduct charter for research

In a world where technological innovation, and therefore the research that underpins it, plays an increasingly central role, and in a company like Talan where it is even more prominent, it is essential to consider its potential impacts within a society facing ever more challenges.
Our responsibility, as researchers within the Talan Group, is not only to advance knowledge, but also to disseminate it and contribute to the development of qualified expertise in support of the services offered by the Group. This responsibility cannot be fulfilled without a relationship of trust with the Group, as well as with all stakeholders involved in the services it provides, in other words, with society as a whole.
Our ethical and professional approach is based on the Talan Group’s Research and Innovation Charter, as well as on the Group’s Code of Conduct for employees. We have also developed a detailed list of actions to be implemented and checks to be systematically carried out at the launch of any research project.
Our ethical and professional approach
We also rely on key reference documents on research ethics and scientific integrity in France and across Europe
such as the European Charter for Researchers - Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (2005) and the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (ESF-ALLEA, 2011).
Taking as a model the standards to which public sector stakeholders are held, we wish to affirm our commitment to these values, as well as to those of the Talan Group.
