The Client's Challenge
MSI Reproductive Choices, a global NGO providing abortion and contraceptive services, needed a comprehensive Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) for its UK office to meet NHS contract requirements and strengthen responsible practices across its value chain. Following the development of an SBTi‑aligned 2045 Net Zero trajectory and compliant CRP, they sought support to govern Net Zero delivery, define a near‑term implementation strategy, mobilise environmental initiatives nationwide, and enhance emissions reporting in a compliant, innovative way.
Talan's Solution
Talan partnered with MSI UK to deliver a coordinated Net Zero programme, defining short‑term interventions, governance structures and a clear Year 1 implementation roadmap. We supported delivery through policy analysis, training recommendations, bespoke monitoring tools, and a sustainability checklist embedded across Estates and Operations to ensure consistent Net Zero standards.
In parallel, Talan also analysed the client’s supply chain and care pathways, identifying Scope 3 hotspots and developing targeted supplier interventions, toolkits and guidance to drive sustained emissions reductions as services expand.
