Ryan Dale is a Smart and Decentralised Energy specialist with 25+ years’ experience across the GB energy market, focused on regulated, market-wide change and the practical delivery of smart and flexible energy programmes. He brings end-to-end smart metering expertise across the full lifecycle, having worked with suppliers, service providers, metering organisations, network operators and industry governance bodies, including programmes aligned to the Smart Metering Implementation Programme.

Ryan has strong working knowledge of the Smart Energy Code, alongside practical experience of the Balancing and Settlement Code and the Retail Energy Code, and he has supported the development and delivery of code and licence changes through drafting, review and governance support. His background spans consultancy and industry roles, with particular strengths in business transformation, major solution implementation, process improvement and change management.
