Poppy ADAMSON

Poppy specialises in energy policy and works within the Energy team at Talan. She focuses on energy efficiency policy for housing decarbonisation in her role as working group manager for the National Home Decarbonisation Group (NHDG). When she is not working alongside the membership she manages research projects on other low carbon technologies including heat pumps and district heating.

Prior to working at Talan, Poppy specialised in energy efficiency policy at a London based Trade Association, the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE), where she supported the energy efficiency members as well as the industrial energy members. At the ADE she co-authored the Owning Opportunity Report, which explores policy options for energy efficiency improvements in the owner occupier tenure. Poppy carries this experience with her to Talan through her membership engagement and project management support.
