Date: Thursday 24th September 2026
Time: 10:00am-11:30am

Join us for an interactive session designed to help social housing providers explore and shape their response to emerging policy requirements, including proposals to require rented homes to reach EPC C by 2030 under Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES).

We’ll begin with a provider-only workshop, creating space to discuss the key challenges you’re facing and the questions you want to put to MHCLG. This will cover areas such as Awaab’s Law, the Decent Homes Standard, and evolving MEES requirements, including reformed metrics, exemptions, and wider EPC reform.

Talan will facilitate the discussion, helping to draw out shared priorities and practical considerations, as well as highlighting how organisations are beginning to prepare for the 2030 deadline. There is also a very short survey for you to complete upon registration to enable us to understand the key challenges you are facing and the topics you would most like to discuss.

Civil servants from MHCLG will then join for the second half of the session to respond directly to your questions and engage in an open discussion shaped by provider insights.
